JANUARY
CAERN/WYLD
The Child of Gaia cub, Mick, was discovered missing from the island claimed by Ouroboros late last month. Most of the tribe was called to the island and it was quickly determined that no one knew where the boy was. A search was begun, both in the woods and in the city. (There was a brief arguement in which Dante, the so-called guardian, decided to abandon the Caern to go into the city and look for Mick without first securing the permission of Robert. He challenged Nightflash, lost, and returned to the Caern.) The Rite of the Questing Stone revealed that Mick was in, or perhaps under, the lake. When Quiet returned, she made enough talens that a small group of Gaians and Derrick were able to go into the lake and look for the lost cub. With the use of his auspice gifts, Derrick was able to find the boy, who had by this time been turned into a fomor and was living in the lake. The former cub was put down, but the Garou were attacked by small, squid-like creatures that attempted to attach themselves to Coda's throat. These were dispatched and the group returned to the island. Everyone is urged to avoid the lake until the source of this problem can be determined and dealt with.
PEOPLE
Sometime around mid-month, Megan Ravenfeeder's scent began being picked up quite a bit on the Southern and Eastern Bawns. For those who knew her before her disappearance back in late September, it may seem odd that it hasn't been scented either north or west of the Caern.
