New characters/character bodies are only created once a player has submitted an application and had it approved by the Wizards. Until then, new players can log in as Guests to ask questions of the staff and playerbase.
While we encourage all applicants--new, returning, and current--to ask questions, please note that as per GarouMUSH application policy, only the application wizard should see and read an application in its entirety. Please do not send your application to other players on the game until it has been accepted.

One common question that is asked when players hear about our application/registration system is "How hard is it to get a character here?"
The simplest answer to that is, "Not hard at all, provided that you can write a legible, interesting, and self-consistent description of the character you wish to play." If you can't, then you will find it very difficult indeed. That's intentional.
In short, the registration process is not an arbitrary hurdle that the Wizards have set up for players to overcome before they will be accepted on GarouMUSH. Its purpose is to provide you with a forum for showing us that:
- You, the player, have the necessary skills to interact with the rest of our playerbase successfully.
- Your character is interesting enough, believable enough, and compatible enough with our game world that it will enhance the role-play on our MUSH, and not detract from it.
Just a note about what type of character to apply for, regarding that last point on compatibility: Since the MUSH is focused on Garou society as a whole, new players are expected to apply for either a Garou from one of the Tribes, one of their Kin, or a mortal human character. So-called 'Foil' characters, such as Vampires, Mages, Changelings, Wraiths or other Bete, are restricted to current players who have already demonstrated their understanding of the MUSH's worldview. We are unlikely to accept applications for Black Spiral Dancers, Croatan, White Howlers, or Bunyip for similar reasons.
