Usually a highly traumatic event, in which a Garou child transforms into Crinos for the first time, usually by entering a state of Frenzy. If everyone involved is lucky, this occurs somewhere free of witnesses (and possible victims), but as the number of urban-born garou increases, so to do the number of urban Firstings. In an attempt both to prevent possible Veil breaches and protect the nascent Cub, a Kinfetch is attached to as many garou children as possible.
