If everyone involved is lucky, this occurs somewhere free of witnesses (and possible victims), but as the number of urban-born garou increases, so to do the number of urban Firstings. In an attempt both to prevent possible Veil breaches and protect the nascent Cub, a Kinfetch is attached to as many garou children as possible, thus facilitating their kidnapping (hopefully) before their initial Frenzy. These First Changes are known to be excruciatingly painful, so painful, in fact, that one would not even be able to imagine the amounts of pain.
