The SimClaire Project attempts to recreate the MUSH grid in SimCity 4: Rush Hour.

The following is from [news geography] on the MUSH:

GarouMUSH is set in and around the fictitious city of Saint Claire, in Washington State, and the Caern of the Hidden Walk, a powerful caern near that city. Originally a mining town, St. Claire has grown into a modern center of trade with roughly a million people, and has all the facilities (and problems) of a city that size. It has several suburbs, all to the west of the city. Most of the land to the east of town is forested, either National or State Park land, or private land, with the exception of Kent Crossing Township. St. Claire sits at a point where the Columbia River runs roughly north-south, and where US Interstate 90 crosses that river.

The admins and founders of the MUSH are aware that this area is neither forested, lush, nor well-inhabited in RL (it's apparently a desert where they grow onions); there's no need to clue them in if you're from this area, as we're all pretty happy with our illusion. St. Claire is the county seat of Gerlord County which includes St. Claire and the western suburbs thereof. The boundary between Gerlord County and Regan County to the east is the Columbia River. Hence, St. Claire didn't expand east past the county line (the river) but instead westward.

Based on descriptions of cities with a similar population, St. Claire is about the size of New Orleans, while being constrained to one county. This means that upward expansion is the norm. The SimClaire project reached a population of just under 100,000; this is about 1/10th the size of St. Claire. Assume that the city and its suburbs continue to expand to the west, off the edge of the map, into areas not defined by the city grid. The expansion is somewhat limited to the north and south because of mountains, and east by the river and county line.

If your pack territory and/or landmark location is misrepresented, please clarify on the Discussion page. If bordering packs don't dispute the changes, I'll update the maps. Also, if you'd like to see something expanded or a closer view of an area, either add it to the Discussion page or @mail Bobby.

SimClaire-StClaireTagged-Packs

St. Claire, with locations tagged and pack territories outlined. The only non-urban pack shown is Wildfire; most of their territory is off the lower-right corner of the image, along the railroad tracks.

SimClaire-StClaire

The city, without tags at all.

SimClaire-HighlandPoint

Highland Point, where the rich live above the squalor and crowds of the populance.

SimClaire-Harbor Park

Harbor Park, the last stand of the Wyld in the midst of the city.

SimClaire-IndustrialBlight

Industrial Sector - Jermantown and Wharf Streets. Complete with perpetual smog cloud.

SimClaire-ReganCounty

Northeast Regan County, showning the caern and several of the rural properties, as well as Kent Crossing.

SimClaire-WWNP

Southeast Regan County and Wolf Woods National Park, showing Lake Arthur, the ranger station, the caern, and Kent Crossing.

SimClaire-HiddenWalk

Caern of the Hidden Walk. Use your imagination with this one, SimCity4 has some limitations with geography on a small scale and non-sea-level water.
