His soul is like the first guy drunk at a metal show, belly-bouncing off all the guys in the pit, sloshing beer out of his plastic cup, and headbanging like a jackass. Shouting woo. That's what he has inside, and when he picks up a paintbrush or a charcoal pencil, it comes out magical. But still headbanging. He is a good man, loud, and fun, with a love of life, and loyalty to his friends. (A friend of mine wrote that, describing Dillen to me. I think it works quite well.) |
