DNA, Incorporated, is a small, but cutting-edge biotechnology firm. Their stock rides high on the market, and they are known throughout the industry as a very respectable and innovative firm. A few rumors suggest they are less than ethical, but these are few and far between and come mostly from biased sources (disgruntled former employees).
In other words, for those of you who have the book, the information on DNA's inhumane experiments and knowledge of Garou physiology is not known by any of the Garou as yet, nor is it known by the typical employee. As the book puts it, they "are careful to maintain a respectable front," even to their own underlings.
Obviously, this info is likely to change as the MUSH progresses.
