The characters in this game are Werewolves from the context of White Wolf's Werewolf: The Apocalypse. While many similarities exist, these are not the werewolves of horror movies from the sixties. The Garou are a race of people, the last defenders in a doomed fight to save Gaia, Mother Earth. Many of the legends about werewolves are a reality here; most are not. For instance, silver does sting Werewolves, but they do not involuntarily change at each full moon. Players are encouraged to acquaint themselves with the news files here, or for more detail than we can provide, to seek out Werewolf: The Apocalypse, which is the source of the world we interact within. Also, feel free to ask other players if you are in doubt as to whether certain aspects are a reality or fantasy.
