This first, most basic level of rituals takes a step beyond the Level 0 rituals and begins to show effects on the world and the ritualist simultaneously, and with a better chance of success. Although it's not required ICly or OOCly for a ritualist to know Level 0 rituals before learning Level 1 rituals, it's highly recommended as a building block for understanding ritualistic practice. For example, a GM may at their discretion give a Garou ritualist with a better ritual foundation bonuses to success.
