The only means by which a spirit can soak or absorb physical damage in the Umbra (Materialized spirits soak with Stamina). The spirit may use this Charm at any time in a combat turn before damage is determined. A spirit may spend up 12 Power to obtain an equal number of soak dice. Every turn thereafter, it must spend one-quarter if that Power (rounding up) to maintain the Armor.
